Maggie Malone

Maggie Malone - Maggie is currently the assitant varsity coach at Providence High School, where she helped the 2014 team reach the NCHSAA 4A State Championship. She was a four year starting libero at Wingate University. Malone is one of the most decorated volleyball players in Wingate University history. She finished her career with a school-record 1,995 digs. She earned multiple All-SAC, All-Region, and All-American accolades. She helped lead the Bulldogs to four regular season SAC title and four SAC Tournament championships. In 2010, they were the first volleyball team in SAC history to reach the NCAA Elite Eight. Malone is the school's all-time leader in career digs, career digs per set, digs in a season, and digs in a match. In Maggie's four years at Wingate, the Bulldogs had an overall record of 130-7. Wingate went 68-0 in SAC play during her career and 12-0 in the SAC Tournament. After her playing career, she went on to become an assistant coach at Wingate under legendary head coach, Shelton Collier.
