YOUTH LEAGUES - INDOOR  SOCCER


Attention Soccer Captains & Coaches

Welcome - We would like to thank you for registering (or considering registering) your team to play in the 2008/09 Winter Indoor Soccer League at the Sports Connection (formerly Sports Warehouse).  There will be a Captains/Coaches meeting on Sunday, November 2nd from 7-8 PM.  Someone will be available to answer your questions during that time and go over rule changes for the upcoming season.  Attendance is not mandatory but is highly recommended as some of our rules may have changed.  Team Balances should be paid in full at the Captain's Meeting or before.

Schedule - The schedule will  be completed at least 1 week before your first game and posted on our new online League Program called
.  All players will need to have a current waiver on file and be assigned to your Team Roster to be able to access their team schedule and standings.  Waivers/Rosters can be submitted online by Clicking Here.

Team Fee / Deposit
– A $200 deposit is due with your registration form and the Team’s Balance is due at the Captain's Meeting on Sunday, November 2nd from 7-8 PM, or before.  The total team fee is $699.


Payment Information
A minimum $200 deposit is required before your TEAM will be added to the league.  Once your Registration Form has been received and processed, you will receive an Email or Phone Call with instructions to log into our online system to process your TEAM Deposit and/or TEAM Payment.  Teams Balances are due at the Captain's Meeting on Sunday, November 2nd from 7-8 PM or before.  Balance can also be paid online at The Team Fee is $699. 

INDIVIDUAL Registrations will be added to our Waiting List for this League.  If we are able to place you on a "House Team or an Existing Team, you will receive an Email or Phone Call with instructions to log into our online system to process your INDIVIDUAL payment. 
The individual fee $70.

Age Groups
The age groups are U9-High School for both girls and boys.  The age group you played in the fall is the same age group you will play during the winter.  For instance, if before August 1st you were 12 years old and you played U-13, this will be the same for indoor.  If you have any questions please feel free to give us a call.

Team Rosters/Waivers - All Players will have to fill out new waivers for the upcoming season.  Your Team’s Rosters are due at the end of your first game or before, however only players that have filled out a waiver will be in the system to be added to your roster. Players can be added to your rosters up until your fifth game of the season.  After the fifth game, the rosters are frozen for the playoffs.  You can add players after the fifth week, but they are not eligible to play in the playoffs.  Players can be added to your roster by having them fill out a waiver (Online or at the Sports Connection).

Bye Requests – We will try and honor each team’s requests for byes, provided they are listed on the original registration form.  Because of the number of teams during the winter season, it may be difficult to change any schedules after they are posted.  If you are going to have to forfeit a game, please call us so we can try and get a replacement team for your opponent to play for that particular game.

Game Days
– Most Youth games are played on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays with some games possible on weeknights.  High School Girls will normally play on weekday afternoons and weeknights with some games possible on the weekends.  High School Boys normally will play on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings.  There will be some Youth games during the Christmas break on weekdays while kids are out of school.  No games will be played on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, or New Years Eve.

Extra Players - We usually have INDIVIDUAL players that have registered to play Indoor Soccer.  If your team could use an extra player or two, please call us at 704-583-1444 to pick-up one or more of these players.  Thank You.

Food, Drinks - Please do not bring ice chests and large amounts of food into the Sports Connection facility.  Please no team parties at the end of games as we can get congested with new teams entering before their games.  If you would like to rent a party room for your team, please call us at 704-583-1444.
