Soccer Tournaments

August 6 - Coed 2-Person Indoor World Cup Tournament: We will place five to eight teams of two on each half of our indoor field.  A team must yell their country's name when they shoot.  As a team scores, they will leave the field.  The last team to score is eliminate.  The first two teams to score will advance to the final round.  All other teams will be placed in the loser's bracket.  In the loser's bracket competition, the first two teams to score will score advance to the final round versus the other finalists.  First team to score wins.                    CANCELLED

Other Rules:

  • There are no substitutions

  • 16 teams maximum, 10 teams minimum

  • All games begin at 7:00.  All games will be completed by 10 pm.

  • Cost is $40/team.

  • All other normal Sports Connection Soccer rules listed under "League Rules" apply, such as no slide tackling

  • Winners will receive:

    • Full Field: Team Trophy, PLUS $100 in team credit (captain determines how it is divided up) toward a future league. 2nd place will receive a $50 credit.

    • Minimum Field: Team Trophy, PLUS $75 credit.

 

September 10 - Coed 3v3 Indoor Tournament:  1 female must be on the field at all times.  Teams will play 3v3, without a goalie, on a field setup running the width of our indoor field

Other Rules:

  • Substitutions can be made on the fly.

  • 8 teams maximum, 4 teams minimum

  • Tournament is Double- Elimination.  A bracket will be posted on-site to show who plays who in the winner's & loser's bracket as the night progresses

  • All games begin at 6:30.  All matches are 30 minutes, with 15 minute halves and a 2 minute halftime.  Rounds are scheduled to begin every 45 minutes.  All games will be completed by 11 pm.

  • Cost is $75/team.

  • All other normal Sports Connection Soccer rules listed under "League Rules" apply.

  • Winners will receive:

    • Full Field: Team Trophy, PLUS $125 in team credit (captain determines how it is divided up) toward a future league. 2nd place will receive a $50 credit.

    • Minimum Field: Team Trophy, PLUS $100 credit.
